I'm a writer by day and a proofer by, well, day also. Anything significant I've accomplished in any given day has happened before 7 pm, if I have my way. I'm a morning person who writes romance and fantasy fiction because I love it. I have a BS in Environmental Geoscience and an MA in Writing Popular Fiction, specializing in high fantasy. Truly, I'm a writer in a left-brain, scientist's body. Like most people, I have many different aspects to my personality, most of which vary wildly day to day. A few things are constant-- I love my family, and hold them above all else. I am an escapist, usually reading, writing or daydreaming to get away. I am an environmentalist and an animal lover. And I am rather random, despite being left-brained. Odd, I know.

I am on a mission to know all things. Not to lord it over someone else with my supreme knowledge, but rather because to me, that would be my "heaven". I don't think I believe in a heaven in the conventional sense. Rather, when I die, if I am not reborn, I hope I become one with whatever one becomes one with, and that I learn the secrets of all things. I just have this insatiable curiosity to "know". I'm forever asking, "why?" and "how?" Human understanding is so imperfect, I am seeking a perfect understanding of all things.
